Among its most significant architectural and historical elements are the Estanque Grande which offers a variety of activities, the Municipal School of Canoeing which is aimed at children and young people aged 7 to 17, the Palacio de Velázquez, and the Palacio de Cristal which are both currently used as exhibition halls of the Reina Sofa Museum.
